Everything you need to know about accessing your discounts, staying safe, and what happens to your account during and after your tenancy.
Rent Rewards is a free discount platform provided by your landlord or letting agent. It gives you access to exclusive discounts and cashback offers on things you already buy like groceries, broadband, furniture, electronics, fashion, beauty, home essentials, restaurants, travel, and more.
There's no cost to you, and no hidden fees.
You'll receive a personalised link to your rewards portal (branded with your landlord's details). You can access it on any device—phone, tablet, or computer—just by logging in with your email.
Yes. You can install Rent Rewards as a web app directly from your browser on any device. When you visit the portal, you'll see an "Install app" button. Click it to add Rent Rewards to your home screen like a regular app.
You don't need to download anything from an app store.
Once you're logged in, you'll see a range of popular shopping categories (groceries, electronics, fashion, beauty, travel, etc.), plus a "Top Offers" section featuring the best current deals. Browse by category for the brands and retailers you want.
Simply click on the offer you want. Rent Rewards will either pop up a code you can use, or take you directly to the brand's website with the discount code already embedded in the link.
Either way, you complete your purchase directly with the retailer as normal.
No. Rent Rewards is completely free for tenants. There are no subscription fees, no hidden charges, and no payment information required from you.
Your landlord earns a small commission from the brands when you shop, which is how the service is funded.
It's a benefit designed to help you save money during your tenancy. For your landlord or agent, it's an additional service that improves tenant satisfaction without changing your rent or tenancy terms.
All cashback and rewards are handled directly by the brand you shop with – not by Rent Rewards. When you make a purchase through a link or code provided by Rent Rewards, the brand tracks it and credits cashback to your account with them according to their terms.
This means:
- Cashback processing times, amounts, and eligibility are determined by each brand (typically 30–90 days).
- You'll see tracked purchases and credits in your account with that retailer, not in Rent Rewards.
- Rent Rewards simply links you to the offer – the brand handles the rest.
For details on how a specific retailer's cashback works, check their terms or contact their customer service.
Returns are handled entirely by the retailer, following their standard return policy. If you return an item:
- You'll follow the brand's normal returns process.
- Any cashback or rewards related to that purchase will be reversed by the brand according to their terms.
Contact the retailer's customer service if you have questions about how a return affects your rewards. Rent Rewards doesn't process refunds or handle disputes – all of that is between you and the brand.
Completely safe. Rent Rewards never sees, stores, or has access to your bank details, card information, or payment data. You complete all purchases directly with the retailer, using whatever payment method they offer.
Rent Rewards simply provides the link or code and tracks the transaction – nothing more.
Your email is how you:
- Log in and access your personalised rewards portal.
- Receive notifications when new offers are added or deals are expiring.
- Get updates on any tracked purchases with brands.
- Stay connected to exclusive tenant-only deals.
Your email is stored securely and is never shared with retailers or third parties.
Yes, new offers and limited-time deals are added regularly. To stay in the loop:
- Log in weekly to see the latest deals in your portal.
- Whitelist our email address (hello@rentrewards.io) so our newsletters reach your inbox instead of spam. Simply add hello@rentrewards.io to your contacts and mark emails as "not spam".
This way you'll never miss a great offer.
Not at all. Using Rent Rewards has absolutely no impact on:
- Your rent amount.
- Your tenancy agreement or terms.
- Your relationship with your landlord.
- Your legal rights as a tenant.
It's simply an additional perk. Choosing not to use it won't affect your tenancy either.
Yes. Once you've logged in with your email, you can browse all available categories and offers. You don't need to make any purchases to explore what's available.
When your tenancy ends, your landlord will notify Rent Rewards, and we'll remove you from our mailing list. You'll receive an email confirming your account has been deactivated.
However, you can keep your account active if you let us know your new landlord. Here's how:
- If your new landlord also uses Rent Rewards: Email us (support@rentrewards.io) with your new landlord's details. We can update your account so you keep your existing login and access continues with your new landlord's portal.
- If you want to keep your account for future use: Just email us and let us know. We can reactivate it later if you move to a landlord who offers Rent Rewards.
- If you don't want to keep it: No action needed – your account will simply remain deactivated.
You'll have access to your account for up to 90 days after your tenancy officially ends (depending on when your landlord notifies us). This gives you time to track any outstanding purchases or rewards with brands from your previous address.
Email us at support@rentrewards.io with your details and explain the situation. We can review it and reactivate your account if needed.
This depends on the retailer. Some brands allow you to combine discounts, while others have restrictions. Check the offer terms before you buy, or contact the brand's customer service if you're unsure.
Make sure to whitelist hello@rentrewards.io:
- Add the address to your contacts.
- Mark emails from hello@rentrewards.io as "not spam".
- Check your promotions, updates, or other email tabs.
If you're still not receiving them, email us at support@rentrewards.io and we can investigate.
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. You'll receive an email with instructions to reset it. If you don't receive the email, try whitelisting hello@rentrewards.io (see above).

We collect your email, tenancy details (to verify you're eligible), and anonymised information about which offers you click on. This helps us improve the platform and show you more relevant deals.
Cookies allow us to track when you make a purchase through Rent Rewards, which is how the platform stays free for you to use. When you click through to a retailer and complete a purchase, cookies confirm the sale happened through our link – this is what allows your landlord to earn a small commission from the brand, which funds the service.
Without cookies, we can't track sales, brands won't pay commissions, and we can't keep offering Rent Rewards to tenants. It's essential to how the platform works.
Cookies track anonymised information about purchases made through Rent Rewards – things like which offers are clicked, which brands you shop with, and whether a sale was completed. They don't collect or store any of your personal details, payment information, or link your identity to specific purchases.
All data is anonymised, so neither Rent Rewards nor your landlord can see who bought what – only that a sale happened through the platform.
Yes. Accepting cookies is required to use the platform because it's how we track purchases and keep the service running. If cookies are blocked, retailers can't confirm sales came through Rent Rewards, which means no commission is earned and the platform can't be sustained.
By accepting cookies, you're helping keep Rent Rewards free and available for all tenants.
No. Your landlord can't see your individual purchases, browsing history, or which brands you use. They only see anonymised, aggregate data showing how many tenants are using the portal and which categories are most popular.
Rent Rewards doesn't share your personal details with brands. When you click through to make a purchase, that retailer's privacy policy applies. Any data they collect (for your purchase, account, or order history) is between you and them, not shared back to Rent Rewards or your landlord.
Rent Rewards uses industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information. We comply with UK data protection laws (GDPR) and only store data we need to run the service.
