Renting takes a lot.
It should give
something back.
We built Rent Rewards because the cost of living crisis is not a news story. For millions of UK renters, it is the electricity meter running out mid-shower. It is choosing between a birthday present and a full basket. We've lived it. And we built something to change it.
of a renter's take-home pay goes on rent before they buy a single item of food
of annual UK renter expenditure already being spent. We route a slice of it back into tenants' pockets.
Built by people who know what tight wages actually feel like.
Our experience
One of our founders worked two jobs, seven days a week, to make ends meet renting in London. We have family in social housing. We know what it is to ration money for the electricity meter, to weigh up a new pair of shoes against a night out with friends, to wonder whether a weekend away is a luxury you're allowed.
The reality of renting today
Renting in the UK is not a temporary life stage for most people. For a growing number, it is simply life and buying a home is not on the table. We want to stand beside those people and beside the landlords whose profitability is being squeezed from every direction, from the Renters' Rights Act to EPC upgrade requirements by 2030.
Why we built Rent Rewards
The idea behind Rent Rewards is cyclical by design. Tenants save money on the things they already buy. Landlords and housing associations earn passive commission from that spend, a genuine new revenue stream that helps them keep pace with upgrade requirements while keeping rents in check.
The value was already circulating in everyday commerce. We built the infrastructure to direct it where it matters.
Why small savings matter
This is not just about saving on groceries. It is about the new school shoes a parent does not have to put on a credit card. It is about buying the children clothes for the summer holidays instead of saying "maybe next month". It is about a family day out without worrying about every pound spent.
A cosy new pair of pyjamas matters. A birthday present matters. A Christmas gift matters. These moments may seem small, but they are the things that make life feel easier, warmer and more enjoyable.
Every pound saved stays in a tenant's pocket. Over months and years, those savings compound into something much bigger: breathing room.
"We don't win unless our partners win, and our partners don't win unless their tenants are genuinely saving. That's not a philosophy. It's how the economics work and why we built it this way."
Making every tenancy
a little richer.
Not just financially. Richer in options, in breathing room, in the confidence that your home is working for you not just costing you. For tenants and for every organisation that houses them.
Fund the support their tenants actually need
Commission earned through the platform gives housing associations a real new income line money that can go back into crisis loans, community grants, and the frontline services that cut budgets have hollowed out. Resident engagement built in from day one.
Unlock revenue that pays for what regulation demands
A new passive income stream generated by tenant spend. Revenue that helps landlords meet EPC upgrade requirements, stay aligned with the Renters' Rights Act, and keep pace with Awaab's obligations without simply raising rents to cover the gap.
Give residents a reason to stay and a benefit they feel
300+ brand discounts from supermarkets to the miscellaneous moments that make life feel liveable. Exclusive savings inside your brand that residents notice every month, driving renewal conversations and genuine loyalty.
