Is it free for landlords?
Yes, completely. There is no sign-up cost, subscription fee, or any charge to landlords. Rent Rewards is funded entirely through our brand partnerships, so you can offer it to your tenants at zero cost to yourself.
Is it free for tenants?
Yes. Tenants get full access to the platform and all 300+ discounts at no cost. There is no trial period, no hidden tier, and no credit card required.
Do I need to manage the discounts or keep anything updated?
Not at all. Once you have registered your tenants, your job is done. Our team manages every aspect of the platform: sourcing and refreshing offers, handling tenant support, and adding new brand deals every week. You do not need to do anything.
Do tenants need to download an app?
No download is required to get started. When we invite your tenant, they receive a link to their personal online portal where they can access all discounts straight from their browser. From there, they also have the option to save the portal to their phone as a web app for quick access. Please note the platform is not currently available via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
How quickly do tenants get access?
We verify each submission within 24 hours. As soon as your tenant is approved, their invite is sent and they get instant access to the platform. In most cases they will be up and running the same day.
Are the discounts actually exclusive?
The majority of our discounts are not available publicly anywhere else. We work directly with brands to negotiate offers specifically for our members, which means your tenants get access to deals that cannot be found on generic voucher sites or cashback platforms.
What do tenants agree to when they sign up?
When a tenant creates their account, they will be asked to accept our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. They will also have the option to opt in to marketing communications if they wish — this is entirely voluntary and has no impact on their platform access. The only email a tenant receives before creating their account is a single invitation from us; they are under no obligation to accept it and will receive nothing further if they choose not to.
How long does a tenant stay active on the platform?
Tenant accounts are active for 12 months from the date they are registered. As that period approaches, we will contact you as the landlord to confirm whether the tenant is still in residence. If confirmed, access is renewed for a further 12 months. If you do not respond or the tenancy has ended, the tenant's account will be deactivated in line with our data retention policy.
How is my data as a landlord handled?
Your landlord details — including your name, contact information, licence numbers, and any proof documents you submit — are retained for as long as you have active tenants registered with us. This ensures we can verify your status and support your tenants appropriately. Once all your tenants are deactivated or removed, your data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. You may request the deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@rentrewards.io; we will process any such request in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Can letting agents use this too?
Yes. If you are a letting agent or property management company looking to offer Rent Rewards across a larger portfolio of tenants, please get in touch at support@rentrewards.io and we can set up a solution that works for your scale.
Can I register more than 10 tenants?
The form supports up to 10 tenants per submission. If you have more than 10 tenants to register, simply email us at support@rentrewards.io and our team will get everyone set up for you directly.
Is my tenant's data kept safe?
Yes. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and operate in full compliance with UK GDPR. We follow data minimisation principles, meaning we only collect what is strictly necessary to provide the service. We will never sell, rent, or share your tenant's data with third parties. Their information is used solely to provide them with platform access.
